Not An Ugly Duckling

My husband always shoots the wildlife, especially birds. I on the other-hand stick to landscapes and people, primarily sweet, beautiful children. When I stumbled upon this guy behind the Broad Ripple Art Center, I knew I had a chance to show up Greg. So I spent about 10 minutes with the swan and I think the results prove that this particular swan knew he was a pretty handsome stud.

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not

Last week spring decided it would show up in Indianapolis and since it has I've had a lot of opportunities to play in the beautiful weather. Sadie loves to be outside, in fact last week after this fun session she threw the only fit I've ever seen her throw because she DID NOT want to go inside and take a nap. I don't blame her, I wouldn't want to have to take a nap during one of the first days of spring, either. Say hello to spring.

I suppose this is what any girl would do when given a flower :o)
