Every year for as long as I can remember, I have been going "Up North" for 4th of July and I'm pretty sure it's a tradition I'll carry on for forever (I do apologize to those whose birthday's fall during this time :), I hope you can forgive me). Anyways, this year was nothing short of fun and fabulous. We started out in Shawano, and continued our way north to Lake Paradise and Tom Doyle Lake. It was great to be able to spend time with family and enjoy beautiful summer days "Up North"

Craving the Mountains
Yesterday while transporting kids around, a very observant 10 year old, told me I have a lot of cravings. He is correct, I have a ton. Some of the most popular cravings that I have are: cupcakes, coffee, a drink after a long day, shopping, flip flops, and most important, traveling. There are many places in the world I would love to explore and see, but my most favorite one of all is going to the mountains, but mostly Colorado.
And since that is what I am craving at the moment and there is no way my bank account would allow me to hop on a plane just to see the mountains, I'll have to suffice by looking back at old memories that happened in the mountains.
