Love & Vows

Last weekend I had a chance to be a part of a beautiful 10 year vow renewal ceremony  (and by that, I mean photographing the event)!  Despite the forecast, we were lucky the rain held off until after, phew!  It was so amazing to see so many friends and family gathered to help celebrate!  Love was definitely evident throughout the day!

The dress Beth is wearing happens to be HER GRANDMOTHER'S.  She wore her mother's dress for her wedding.  That is amazing and so special.

It was a pleasure meeting both of you, Aaron and Beth, and I wish you another 10 + years of marriage.

Tour De Fat

A few weekend ago, Greg and I happened to be home for a weekend (GASP!), and decided to head downtown Milwaukee for Tour De Fat.  Now for those of you who don't know, Tour De Fat, is an event, put on by New Belgium Brewing company, to raise money and support local bike paths, and other bicycle shenanigans.  But really, it's just an excuse to ride bikes, drink really good beer (in which your $5/per beer goes towards said cause), and have a good old time on a very hot Saturday morning/afternoon.

Greg and I had a blast riding goofy bicycles, watching crazy people, and drinking beer.  I think we are planning on doing it again next year and are hoping we can get more friends and family to join.  It really is a great event.

60th Anniversary Celebration

Last weekend Greg and I spent the weekend with family celebrating his grandparent's 60th anniversary. I am still in awe of the milestone, it just blows me away! I hope that 58 years from now, Greg and I are still as ever in love with eachother as we are now. I'm pretty sure his grandparents are more in love with eachother now, than they were 60 years ago. Their love for eachother was evident in every moment this past weekend, and I'm glad I have been able to witness such an incredible thing. These are just a few snapshots of the weekend moments.

Snapshots of Summer

I feel as though I have done a bad job of taking pictures for myself lately.  Greg and I went to Northern Wisconsin as always over the weekend of the 4th of July, but I really didn't pick up my camera as often as I wish I had.  I did manage to capture of few of Porter's favorite new "Up North" activity for you to see below as well as some photos from our trip out to Pittsburgh for a graduation celebration.

I suppose I've just been to busy working, relaxing, and taking photos for others, which I really don't mind at all.

So take a peek, and hopefully I'll be more inclined to pick up my camera during the last month or two of summer, in order to have more to share with you.  Hope your summer has been enjoyable : )

He just loves hanging out on the kayak.

Emma Lynn: 3 Months

I hosted a baby shower with some friends earlier this year for this little one's arrival and I was so excited to finally meet Emma last weekend!  She is a gorgeous little girl, with a very bubbly personality and although the photo shoot threw her day completely off schedule, we still managed to get some cute pictures.  Later on that evening, we went to Andy's softball game, and after a breif nap, Emma showed off everything she had :)  I can't wait to go back in a few months and see her for her sixth month shoot!

Thank you Andy & Katie!
